Party places in Moncton

How a VR party is different from other birthday party places

Families in Greater Moncton compare a lot of birthday party venues: Hop Skip Jump, the Dieppe Aquatic Centre, the Sports Dome, the Kay Arena, Playtime Kiddo and others. Each one is its own kind of party. Here is what ours is.

  • The room is yours

We close the arena to the public for the party: no other groups, nobody waiting for a headset.

  • Ages play together

A 9-year-old and a 15-year-old play the same game, and so can the parents: from co-op adventures to competitive shooters.

  • No sporty skills needed

If you can walk, you can play. Nobody sits on the bench.

  • Any weather

Indoors all year: rain, snow or a heat wave changes nothing.

  • We run it

A staff member fits the headsets, briefs the group, runs the rotations and keeps score.

  • One flat price

A package is one price for the whole party, the same for any number of guests up to the limit, and you see it before you pay.

How it works

From booking to cake

  1. Pick a package

  3. Tell us the details

  4. Show up and play

Arrive 20 minutes early. We brief the group, hand out the headsets and start the clock.

A birthday party venue in Moncton for kids, teens and adults

Looking for birthday party ideas in Moncton that work for a 9-year-old and a 15-year-old alike? AtlanticVR is a free-roam virtual reality arena on Mountain Road: the whole group plays together in the same virtual world, walking, running and dodging in a real room, not sitting on a couch with a controller. We host kids birthday parties, teen birthday parties and adult ones, for families from Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview and the rest of Greater Moncton.

What a party looks like

You book a package, a date and a start time online. We close the arena to the public, set up the party area and load the games the birthday star picked. Guests arrive 20 minutes early for the briefing, play in rotations so everyone gets equal time, then move to the party area for cake and snacks. A staff member stays with the group the whole time.

Kids birthday party places by age

Most birthday party places in Moncton are built for one age. A VR arena is not: for kids from 7 to 12 we load co-op adventures and puzzle games and help every guest with the headset, for teens from 13 to 17 we run competitive rounds with a score board, and adults get the arena for a birthday, a bachelor or a bachelorette party. Mixed ages are fine too: brothers, sisters and parents can join the same game.

Games for every age

Our library has 40+ titles: co-op adventures and escape missions for younger kids, shooters and sports for teens, and competitive rounds with a score board for adults. The minimum age is 7 and we recommend 10 and up; a parent or guardian signs the waiver for guests under 19.

A party venue that works in any weather

A birthday party venue indoors means no backup plan for rain or snow. The arena, the party area for cake and snacks and the staff are all in one place, so you book once and show up. The free dates and start times show live in the form above, so you know right away whether your day works. Searching for children's party venues near you from Dieppe or Riverview? The arena on Mountain Road is minutes away.

Prices and what is included

Every package is a flat price for the whole group, with decorations and a gift for the birthday star included. Bigger group? Write to us and we will put together a custom plan.

Birthday questions

What ages can play?

Players must be at least 7; we recommend ages 10 and up. Guests under 14 need an adult with them in the venue, and a parent or guardian signs the waiver of guests under 19.

Is AtlanticVR a good birthday party venue for kids?

Yes, for kids from 7, and we recommend 10 and up, when most kids handle the headset on their own. The whole arena is closed for the party, a staff member stays with the group, and the party area next door is for the cake.

What birthday party ideas work for teens?

A tournament: shooters, zombie missions and escape rooms with a score board. Teens pick the games, we keep score, and the winner gets the bragging rights.

Which package fits a kids, teen or adult party?

Any package works for any age; the difference is the length. For younger kids we would start with a shorter one, for teens and adults with a longer one. Each package shows its VR time and lounge time on its card above.

How is it different from other birthday party places in Moncton?

It is a private VR arena: no other groups during your party, kids of different ages play the same game, the weather does not matter, and our staff runs everything from the briefing to the score board.

Can we bring a cake and food?

Yes. There is a party area for cake and snacks, right next to the arena. Let us know in advance so it is set up for you.

What if some guests have never tried VR?

Most of them have not. Our staff gives a full orientation and stays in the arena the whole time; guests are usually comfortable within minutes.

Can we have more guests than the package allows?

Write to us at [email protected] with the group size and the date. We will come back with a custom plan for a bigger party.
